I’m a 42-year-old woman, and lately, I found out I’m pregnant. This will be my 3rd child. But those around me and in my family found out I was pregnant, instead of rejoicing, they said, “You’re an old woman, you have big kids, why would you want this one, etc.?” Honestly, I was starting to get a little complex. I thought it was normal for people my age to have kids and there was nothing scary or weird about it.
My husband noticed that I was very upset. We talked and he said he didn’t care what anyone thought. You’re pregnant and we shouldn’t get rid of the baby. God gave us another opportunity to have a baby and we should be proud of it.
