Experiencing the loss of anyone in our lives can be difficult, including if we don’t know them on a personal basis. It may be an actor or someone else who is famous that touched our lives, and it is sad when they pass away.
That is how many people feel this now that Canadian actor Donald Sutherland has died. You probably know him from his work in movies, including Ordinary People, MASH, and The Hunger Games.
Donald Sutherland dealt with a long illness before passing away at the age of 88 in Miami. His death was reported by his son, Kiefer Sutherland.

Donald Sutherland was born on July 17, 1935, in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. His first major role was in 1967 when he played in The Dirty Dozen. Other roles of note included JFK, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Pride and Prejudice, and M*A*S*H.
He won a number of awards during his career, including some Emmy awards and an Academy Honorary Award. It’s he was known for his ability to play many different types of roles and characters.
Although he was not often a matter of gossip, he did date Jane Fonda while she was still married for a couple of years.
He appeared in almost 150 films and close to 40 television roles during his career. He is survived by his wife, five children, and four grandchildren.
