If you were alive during the 70s, you undoubtedly know of a band that was very popular at the time, the Bee Gees. That band, made up of 3 brothers, Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb was constantly playing on the radio and at the dance club.

These brothers had a lot going on in their lives and, at times, they struggled to keep it all together. They also had to deal with death and tragedy, which is what many people remember about the band.

Only Barry Gibb remains of those brothers and recently, he dropped a bomb that many of us found interesting. It is something you may not have known, and it will shape how you feel about him.

Barry Gibb was a big part of the Bee Gees. When most people think about him, they probably remember his voice, because he sang some impressive falsetto. He also was a prolific songwriter.

Gibb even managed to get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 along with his brothers. Over the years, he has gained many other honors as well.

When you look beyond his professional life, you see that there were many things happening behind the scenes that were difficult. This included the loss of both of his brothers and some inner struggles that were difficult for him to handle.

One high point of his life is when he met Linda Gray and asked him to be his wife. They were married in 1970 and have been together ever since.

In speaking about this initial meeting, he said: “She was the hostess for one week, the week ‘Massachusetts’ was No. 1. And she’d never heard of it. We just saw each other across the room and something happened.”

They have been together for over 50 years and we wish them many more.
