Angelina Jolie smiled brightly when she looked out at the crowd and spotted her daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt among them. The 15-year-old is Jolie’s daughter and the twin to her son, Knox.
“You mentioned your daughter, Vivienne. She’s here today too. She’s working along with the cast but she turned you onto this. Tell us, how this came to be,” Hoda asked the superstar, as cameras panned to show everyone Vivienne sitting in the crowd, supporting her mom. “She did. But I think that’s to say for anybody watching and anybody who is going to see this and what they brought forward…this is about family,” Angelina said about her project The Outsiders. “And the same reason it responded to her and the same reason she wanted me next to her watching it and the same reason we all hugged when I came out here is because this is about family. And it’s about community.”
The Oscar-winning actress shares six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt. Her youngest are twins Knox and Vivienne, both 15 years old. Then comes Shiloh, at 17 years old. Zaharah who is 18, Pax who is 20, and Maddox who is 22. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016 and the two of them are still embroiled in a contentious legal battle.
While spotting Vivienne with her mother is rare, this is not the first time she is wit her at a professional engagement. In April this year, the mother-daughter duo celebrated the opening night of their Broadway production.
