Despite all of that effort, he hasn’t been able to get it off the market since 2021.

When he bought the property in 2019, he was planning to make it his family’s base camp – but soon realized that it was too far from his first choice of school for his son Eric, whom he shares with fiancée Lauren Silverman, 45.

Now the music mogul has decided to rent it out instead.

A source previously said: “Simon spent around £1 million tailoring it to meet his and his family’s needs, so he was definitely planning to make it his base in the UK.

‘However, when he realized that London traffic could make the relatively short trip so arduous, he determined it wasn’t the place for him and put it on the market.”

But this isn’t the only mansion that Simon owns.

The BGT judge has a very impressive property portfolio.

Simon owns another London property that is worth £10m.

The star also has a home located in Malibu (£1.8.3m) and Los Angeles (£19m).
