3-year-old Emmy Krow, a little girl at a dance recital, captured the hearts of thousands with her joyous reaction to spotting her family in the crowd.
There is a reason Jesus encouraged His followers to have childlike faith. The emotions and reactions of children are so pure.
Just take, as an example, this wholesome video of 3-year-old Emmy Krow. The little girl’s reaction to spotting her family in the crowd at her recital is utterly heartwarming!
It was a big day for Emmy Krow. The little girl would be performing in her very first dance recital at Unity Dance Spectrum in Chicopee, Massachusetts. And as the instructors ushered the tiny dancers, decked out in festive wear, onto the stage, you can see Emmy staring off and scanning the crowd.
The 3-year-old is searching the audience for the familiar faces of her loved ones, seeking their support and reassurance. And before she’s able to locate her family among the sea of people, her face is riddled with concern and uncertainty.
But then something magical happens — she spots her family. And the moment she does, her face instantly lights up with pure joy! It even seems as though she’s wiping away tears of joy as she realizes she’s got her own personal cheering squad there to support her.
Emmy’s proud mama, Chelsea Krow, couldn’t resist sharing the precious moment on social media. And once she did, the touching video quickly went viral!
The genuine joy displayed by this little girl at the dance recital touched the hearts of folks all over. In fact, famed broadcast journalist Maria Shriver even shared the video on her own Instagram page, writing, “This is exactly how I feel when I see my granddaughters – pure and utter joy!”
Indeed, this is what true love looks like! And it shows the power a good support system can have in our lives.
Stepping on stage for the first time can be a daunting task. But the girl took comfort in the love and support she had from her family. Much like we can take comfort in the unconditional love we receive from our Heavenly Father.
May the joy on this little girl’s face remind you of the joy that comes from God’s greatest gift to us — His Son, Jesus Christ!
“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:8-9
