I’m an old woman and I already have problems with walking and moving around. I understand that I’m bothering everyone. I know that my daughter-in-law is upset, constantly grumbling and complaining.
A few days ago, I overheard her talk with her mom on the phone about taking me to a nursing home. And even she wants to give my house to her.
When I heard that, I was shocked. I cried a lot, but then got up and went to talk to her. I said:
“Dear, may be I’m very old, but I’m not stupid. You are very mistaken, if you think that I will donate the house to you, and after you can take me to the nursing home. If you don’t like living with me, you can pack your clothes and go wherever you want, I won’t leave my house, I won’t give you my house either”.
After that talk she calmed down and we lived happily.
