Jack and Lily have been married for 20 years and have 3 children. Lily did not accept that she would live with her father-in-law, Grandpa Jacob, and despite the fact that her father-in-law was quite reserved and modest, Lily was still disturbed by his presence.
One day, after conversation they decided to take grandfather Jakob to a nursing home. By the way, he already had difficulty in moving around and then more than ever he needed tenderness and care.
Jack agreed with Lily and grandfather Jakob was transferred to a nursing home. Due to his bad mental state, the grandfather finally fell into the bed and couldn’t move anymore, he didn’t eat anything and was in bad mood and even didn’t want to talk to anyone. His family members did not even call him, even though months had passed.
In his last days Grandpa Jakob asked an employee for a pen and paper and asked them to pass this note to his family members when he would pass away.
Couple days ago Jacob’s family members received his letter:
“My dears, now I have already passed away and you didn’t treat me so well in the end of my life, but still, you are my family, and I love you. Know one thing well, I will try to protect you from heaven from any troubles and trials.
Hug you, my family.”
After reading this letter, everyone’s eyes were full of tears and everyone realized for themselves what a good heart Grandfather Jacob had in contrast to their mean and evil heart.
