Following the tornadoes that ravaged several states, including Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Arkansas, a plethora of stories surfaced last week. Sadly, many people perished, and houses and other buildings were left to ruins.

Yet one grandma claims that her two infants lived despite the bathtub they were hiding in being torn out of the ground and thrown into it.

Lacking a cellar, Hopkins County, Kentucky resident Clara Lutz described how she had put Kaden, 15 months, and Dallas, 3 months, in the bathtub in anticipation of the approaching storm. Along with them, she placed a Bible, a blanket, and a pillow.

Clara was holding the bathtub when the tornado struck, but it was torn from her hands and lifted into the air.

According to reports, she stated, “I felt the rumbling, I felt the shaking of the home.” “The tub lifted suddenly, and before I knew it, it was out of my hands. I was unable to continue.

“I was searching everywhere for the tub,” she continued.

“I had no idea where these babies were at all. Lord, please bring my babies back to me safely was all I could utter. I humbly beg you.

Meanwhile, the water tank from the tub struck Clara in the back of the head.

Later, an upside-down tub was discovered in the grandmother’s yard. Fortunately, the two infants were discovered beneath it unharmed. The two were later reunited with their family by the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff descended. At the bottom of my driveway, I climbed into the sheriff’s vehicle. My 15-month-old son Kaden was brought to me once the door was opened. Dallas, my three-month-old baby, was also brought to me. They delivered him to me. We were unsure of what was happening because he had a large old goose egg on the back of his head, said Clara.

The grandma continued by describing how 3-month-old Dallas had been brought to the hospital with brain bleeding. However, by the time he arrived at the scene, the bleeding had stopped.
